    Terms & Conditions

    Last updated: April 28, 2026

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the services of Thunder Haul Moving & Junk Removal ("Thunder Haul," "we," "us," or "our"). By requesting a quote, booking a service, or engaging us in any capacity, you ("Customer," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

    1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Thunder Haul Moving & Junk Removal. By submitting a quote request, booking an appointment, signing a service agreement, or engaging our crew for any work, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

    2. Services

Thunder Haul provides residential and commercial moving and junk removal services including, but not limited to:

    • Local and long-distance moving
    • Furniture hauling and removal
    • Appliance removal
    • Full junk removal and debris cleanup
    • Same-day service (subject to availability)

All services are subject to availability in your area. We reserve the right to decline any job at our discretion, including situations that pose safety risks to our crew or that involve prohibited items.

    3. Quotes & Pricing

All quotes provided by Thunder Haul are estimates based on information you supply at the time of inquiry. Final pricing may vary if:

    • The actual volume, weight, or complexity of items exceeds the original estimate.
    • Additional services are requested on-site that were not included in the original scope.
    • Access conditions (e.g., stairs, elevator requirements, long carry distances) differ materially from what was described.
    • The job requires more crew time than estimated due to packing, disassembly, or unforeseen circumstances.

Our crew will communicate any material price changes before proceeding with additional work. We maintain an upfront pricing policy and will not surprise you with hidden fees.

    4. Scheduling & Arrival Windows

We provide estimated arrival windows, not guaranteed arrival times. While we make every effort to arrive within the scheduled window, delays may occur due to traffic, prior job overruns, or weather conditions. We will notify you promptly if a significant delay is anticipated.

Same-day service requests are honored when capacity allows and are subject to crew and vehicle availability on that date.

    5. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

    Customer Cancellations

    • More than 48 hours before the job: No cancellation fee. Full refund of any deposit paid.
    • 24–48 hours before the job: A cancellation fee of up to 25% of the estimated job cost may apply to cover crew scheduling costs.
    • Less than 24 hours before the job: A cancellation fee of up to 50% of the estimated job cost may apply.
    • Same-day no-show: Full estimated job cost may be charged.

    Rescheduling

You may reschedule your appointment at no charge with at least 48 hours' notice, subject to availability. Rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of the job may incur a rescheduling fee.

    Company Cancellations

In the unlikely event that Thunder Haul must cancel or reschedule due to equipment failure, crew emergency, or extreme weather, we will notify you as soon as possible and reschedule at no penalty to you. Any deposit paid will be fully refunded if we are unable to complete your service.

    6. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, major credit/debit cards, and other payment methods as displayed at time of booking.

    • Deposits: Some bookings may require a deposit to hold your appointment. Deposits are applied to your final balance.
    • Late Payment: Invoices unpaid more than 7 days after service completion are subject to a 1.5% monthly late fee.
    • Disputes: Any billing disputes must be raised within 5 business days of invoice receipt. We will work in good faith to resolve all disputes quickly.

    7. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure your move or haul goes smoothly, you agree to:

    • Provide accurate and complete information about the scope of work, item inventory, access conditions, and any special handling requirements at time of booking.
    • Ensure pathways, doorways, and the work area are accessible and clear of hazards before our crew arrives.
    • Be present (or have an authorized representative present) at the job site during service, unless otherwise arranged in advance.
    • Identify and disclose any fragile, high-value, or irreplaceable items that require special handling.
    • Ensure pets are secured and children are kept safe and away from the work area.
    • Obtain any required permits, building approvals, or elevator reservations for your building prior to our arrival.
    • Not request our crew to perform work that is illegal, unsafe, or outside the agreed scope without prior authorization.

    8. Prohibited Items

For safety, legal, and environmental reasons, Thunder Haul will not transport or remove the following items:

    • Hazardous materials: gasoline, propane tanks, pesticides, chemicals, paint, oil, solvents, or any flammable or explosive materials.
    • Asbestos-containing materials or lead-based paint debris.
    • Medical waste, biohazardous materials, or sharps.
    • Live animals or perishable food items.
    • Firearms, ammunition, or illegal substances.
    • Items weighing in excess of our equipment's safe load capacity.

If prohibited items are discovered on-site, we reserve the right to decline removal of those specific items and to adjust pricing accordingly. No refund will be issued for the cost of crew time already expended.

    9. Liability & Damage Claims

    Our Liability

Thunder Haul carries industry-standard commercial liability insurance. In the event of damage to your property caused by our crew's negligence during the performance of services, we will work with you to resolve the claim promptly and fairly.

    Filing a Claim

Any damage claim must be reported in writing within 48 hours of service completion by emailing janybekovazim0@gmail.com with photos and a description of the damage. Claims reported after this window may not be accepted.

    Limitations

    • We are not liable for damage to items you have packed yourself unless the damage is due to our crew's mishandling.
    • We are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear, or structural weaknesses in furniture, appliances, or property.
    • Our maximum liability for any single item is limited to its current fair market replacement value, not original purchase price.
    • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages (e.g., lost income, emotional distress).
    • We are not liable for damage resulting from customer error or from following customer instructions over our professional advice.

    High-Value Items

If you have items valued over $500 (jewelry, art, collectibles, electronics, antiques), please declare them in advance. We recommend purchasing third-party moving insurance for high-value items, as our standard coverage may not fully compensate replacement cost.

    10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Thunder Haul Moving & Junk Removal and its owners, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your negligence or misconduct; (c) inaccurate information you provided; or (d) your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights.

    11. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or our services, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails within 30 days, the dispute will be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). The arbitration will take place in the state where Thunder Haul is headquartered, unless both parties agree otherwise. Each party bears their own legal fees except as required by applicable law.

Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek emergency injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm.

    12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which Thunder Haul Moving & Junk Removal is licensed and operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes not subject to arbitration shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in that jurisdiction, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

    13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
